POSITION: BUYER
Homelegance TX, Inc., located in Houston, Texas (job site), is seeking a full-time Buyer with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management and 1 year related work experience.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
analyzing customers’ preference, examining company’s sales history, and recommending the products for purchase
evaluating the supplier’s performance based on the price, quality and delivery of products
analyzing the financial impact of proposed logistics changes such as routing, shipping modes, or carriers
developing optimum routing and cost-effective shipping plans
reviewing bid proposals and negotiating contracts with the suppliers
managing appropriate stock levels and setting customer reorder point
implementing sourcing and procurement strategies to increase sales
compiling information from periodicals and catalogs to keep informed on the price trends
